Implementing the elluminate Clinical Data Cloud: R&D IT

With so many moving parts in a clinical trial, the last thing anyone wants is to be slowed down by fragmented technology and tools. Maintaining a reliable, modern Clinical IT infrastructure that helps streamline the clinical development process is my primary responsibility as a Director of R&D IT.

Implementing the elluminate Clinical Data Cloud has ensured that our team works together in a secure platform throughout the entire clinical process. elluminate gives us a single access point for all clinical data sources, even as more sources are added throughout the trial. It ingests and maps all our different data feeds automatically, meaning users aren’t asking me or my team why data is missing!

This automation improves our team’s ability to view and access the data they need to focus on, and with over 40 out-of-the-box visualizations available in real time, along with self-service analytics, there are far less requests for different tools to retrieve data.

The elluminate platform has allowed us to simplify our processes so that we can focus on developing a clinical data architecture that supports the future of clinical research across the organization.
