Company Overview
Eliassen Group was founded in 1989 by Mona Eliassen, who started an IT staffing company to address the fast-growing needs in corporations for technology talent. She grew the company rapidly and led it through its meteoric growth and subsequent post-Boom period, never relinquishing her focus on delivery of quality staffing services. Over the past 20 years, the Technology Staffing division has evolved from serving the greater Boston area to serving broader geographies throughout the US, including New York, New Jersey and North Carolina. In all these locales Eliassen Group is now a preferred vendor of contract and direct-hire staffing solutions to corporations, state government and non-profit organizations.
In 2002, Mona and Eliassen Group’s Leadership Team began to address the shortage of data management talent in the bio-pharma industry. By 2006 it had become apparent that a strategic investment could grow a second line of business for Eliassen Group in this high-growth industry so the company initiated eClinical Solutions to provide comprehensive data management and technical, consulting and training services for the bio-pharma and medical device industries.
In 2007, Mona stepped back from day-to-day leadership as CEO, but maintained her position as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. She remains an active force in shaping the future of Eliassen Group.
